Chapter 16

In the morning there were half-eaten nyala everywhere. Derek had let them loose so the tigers and things would eat them and not him. These animals aren't nyalas. Nyalas are sort of scarce in the zoo right now.

My dad found Cat's Cubmaster, Rom. He'd snuck back into the zoo after Mr. Cave sent him out with a list of demands. During the night, they stayed in the wolf den so the Calfers wouldn't find them. There were wolves in the wolf den too. Then Rom searched the zoo for the Cub Scouts and finally found them in JungleWorld.

I was still locked up in the leopard enclosure, and it was cold.

Finally, Derek and Rom found me. Derek gave me my coat and TV, but they couldn't get me out yet.
